Mosaic
Christmas tree (3-D) made by Mom’s artistic and loving hands. Many of the gems come from my grandmother’s
jewelry and my mother-in-law’s china.
Priceless!
Some
homemade goodness (3 different pastas!) made for us by niece Erin – this carbo-loading
MUST have a magic PR cooked into it!
Our
new treadmill! We had already talked
about getting a treadmill, but I hadn’t had time to research to find which
treadmill was best for us. The best part
of this gift is that Scott surprised me with doing the research, purchasing,
AND setting it up! I love the treadmill,
but I love the surprise and thoughtfulness the most!!!

MerryThon Half & Jingle Bell Half – two holiday half marathons celebrated
with old and new friends. What’s better
than a hot cocoa stop at mile 10?
I
hope you are all having a wonderful holiday season! And here’s to a fun, exciting, healthy, PR
kind of New Year – where there are hot cocoa stops just when you need them!!!
Looks like you had a great Christmas with family and what a nice surprise from Scott!
ReplyDeleteI did :) And I hope you did as well! I love things that are less material and more meaningful.
DeleteLooks like a wonderful holiday! That's exciting that you got a treadmill and didn't have to do the research. :-)
ReplyDeleteI did, thank you! I used the treadmill yesterday for the first time and ran "in northern Alaska" (courtesy of iFit/googlemaps)....really changes the attitude about the DREADmill!
DeleteI LOVE THAT XMAS TREE 3D PICTURE!!! And I am really a scrooge so that is saying something. So clever and I love how items were re-purposed into something that is very beautiful. Very talented mom.
ReplyDeleteMe too Michelle! I often call myself a scrooge, but I think it's more about the craziness that we all get caught up in. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate any gift given to me, but gifts like some of the things I included in this blog are extra special.
DeleteYeah, she's crazy talented like that!
The 3D tree made by your mom is beautiful!!! And the fact that your husband surprised you with a treadmill is amazing! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jennifer! I hate to put the tree pic away cuz I love it :)
DeleteYes, my husband sure is a keeper. And its a win/win since he gets to use it too.
Happy New Year to you as well!
