CELEBRATE! (preview to Maine Coast Marathon race report)

Today, I celebrate a new PR and a BQ time....3:53:40!!!!   But just as importantly, today I celebrate a marathon in which I managed it – it did not manage me.

More to come in a real race report, but for now, I’ll leave you with an image of my newest bling –

    1. Thanks Jill! The rain wasn't too bad actually; the humidity...that was something else altogether! But fortunately I've done this enough times to know when to dial back and/or push forward. So I did a lot of "riding the clutch"!

    1. Thanks a bunch!! "Managing" is a word my husband's always used, so he gets all the credit :) I will say that managing the race feels SO much better than the "fly and die" approach :)

  10. oh wow! a BQ! good for you! I was thinking about you that morning and wondered how you did. And then thought about you again yesterday as I drove through Georgetown heading to Byfield. I can't wait to read the race report!!
